Jordan A. Hamilton, Ph. D

At the heart of my psychology practice is a commitment to offering unique and transformative psychological treatments that go beyond symptom management to address the deeper roots of human suffering. Rather than simply alleviating surface level expressions, such as depression and anxiety, my practice seeks to uncover and heal the underlying wounds and unmet needs that give rise to these symptoms.

Central to my approach is guiding clients on a journey of self-discovery, helping them fulfill the fundamental human need to realize their True Self. This includes supporting clients who are ready to know and integrate they often unacknowledged shadow aspects of the ego – the parts that cling to control and resist vulnerability. By fostering, deep inner work and authentic connection to the self, my practice empowers lasting change, a greater freedom, and a more meaningful, conscious life.

Kimberly J. Sanders, M.A.

My psychological counseling practice is dedicated to serving individuals – especially women – who are seeking a deeper sense of meaning, healing, and connection in their lives. With over 30 years of experience in trauma treatment, I offer a compassionate integrative approach that combines evidence-based modalities, such as EMDR, Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (T.I.S.T., parts work), breath work, and trauma informed yoga.

My work is grounded in a holistic understanding of the human experience, informed by many years of training in non-denominational spiritual direction, which allows me to support clients in exploring, both psychological and spiritual dimensions of healing. I specialize in working with women, struggling with a self–love deficit, often caught in painful cycles of relationships with grandiose or emotionally unavailable partners. Through a warm, empowering, and deeply attuned therapeutic relationship, I help clients release past burdens, reclaim their inherent worth, and move toward lives rooted in authenticity, inner peace, and meaningful self-connection.

Jack & Gigi

Jack and Gigi, our beloved therapy dogs, our gentle and intuitive companions who play a vital role in creating a sense of calm, safety, and emotional connection during counseling sessions. Their warm, steady presence offers clients a non-judgmental space where vulnerability feels less daunting and emotional regulation becomes more accessible. Research shows that interaction with dogs can lower cortisol (stress hormone) levels, reduce blood pressure, and increase oxytocin, the hormone associated with bonding and trust.

Neurologists have discovered that dogs uniquely access a part of the human brain reserved for unconditional connection, a place even other humans cannot reach. As Carl Jung so insightfully stated, “pets can hold projections of the self or the instinctual soul. They carry the lost or denied parts that human caregivers couldn’t mirror.“ In animal–assisted therapy, dogs like Jack and Gigi can help clients reconnect with these lost parts of themselves, fostering healing from attachment wounds, trauma, and relational pain. Whether offering a soothing presence or simply lying nearby, they intuitively support the therapeutic process, helping clients feel more grounded, emotionally supported, and open to transformation.
